Master David Hiltz
With over 27 years in the Martial Arts, Master David Hiltz is a 7th Degree certified International Instructor of ITF Taekwon-Do . Master Hiltz is also Provincial director and representative of ITF Taekwon-Do in Nova Scotia. He holds over 50 National and Provincial tournament victories including Eastern Canadian Champion (1996), National Silver Medalist (1997) and twice competed at the World Championships in England. He has been teaching for HRM Recreation Department programs for the last 19 years and has done Bully Proofing classes in many of the schools and organization in HRM. Master Hiltz is trained by 8th Degree Senior Master Pierre Laquerre from Trois Riverre Quebec who is The CTFI technical director of Canada. Having been a National coach 5 times Master Hiltz has travelled with the team to Italy twice, New Zealand, Honduras and Canada. Hiltz Taekwon-Do students have represented Canada for the last 8 World Championships. Master Hiltz’s first discipline was boxing. He started amateur boxing and training with such local names as Ralph Hollett and Chris Clark when he was 19 years old. During his 6 years of training he had the honor of training and sparring with past Heavyweight World Champion, Lenox Lewis. With the combination of the 2 disciplines, Hiltz Taekwon-Do produces many top skilled students.
